There is very little doubt about who and what the LORD has been in my life. For all of it to be true and accurate, I must only understand that I exist because HE existed first. HE is the air that I breathe and HE is the only thing that is important in my life at any point. Why? Because we are told that we cannot do anything outside of the truth (II Cor. 13:8). The truth, JESUS, is found in us because we have made a home for HIM to exist in us. The truth is what sets us free; it heals our hearts if we allow it to; it comforts us in ways that we cannot imagine--if we allow it to be that way; the truth establishes the only way for us to live and to act; the truth establishes hope. In truth there is hope to be found and in that hope there is life and it is there more abundantly. I know this to be true because I have experienced it. I have experienced the greatest joy in the deepest of sorrow. I know that I am not alone or laid waste to the most difficult of days. I know that my LORD looks upon me as beloved and not with shame, disgrace, disdain or any hardness in HIS heart. HIS heart breaks when mine does and it is joyful when I am. I am thankful for who and what my LORD is to me and how much HE has promised to be with me. NO MATTER WHAT!
